I am afraid that soon I will have to give up my Other title (just kidding). Having a single woman from the Ashkenazi Jewish tribe on the the U.S. Supreme Court makes me feel almost mainstream. It's a good day for America when a progressive woman is being confirmed to the highest court of the land. And it was an eye feast seeing Obama introducing her to a crowd of suits in the White House. Now we have three women sitting on the bench. Compare that to the women of Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia and Somalia. We still have a long way to go. But we are getting there....
